Glen Cunningham
Summary: One day Glen and his brother Floyd went to this classroom and Glen's brother, Floyd decided to light a fire on the coal stove. Floyd did not know there was already warm coal inside, but it got on fire and Floyd got extremely burned when Glen's legs  got burned. When they took the 2 kids to the hospital, the doctor had said Floyd is really burned and he will not survive, as for Glen he will but he will not be able to walk again. Glen had told his Mom I will walk again while his Mom started tearing up because she was just told he will not be able but Glen kept trying and trying and every time he would think of quitting or how much it hurt him trying to walk he would always say to himself "I will  walk, I will walk" and sooner Glen was able to walk, even run. He ran the marathon and he won. Late on in his life he became a doctor and was married and raised a family of 10 kids.

Reflection: I think this story is very inspiring because its teaching you to never give up even when people doubt you. Like anything is possible in life you just have to believe in yourself and never let peoples doubts get to you.
